Indy Christian Label Inks A-Traditional Record Deal to Bring New Look, New Site, and New Sound to its Label!

Colorado Springs, CO (PRWEB) February 24, 2006

On February 2, 2006, independent, Christian label, Reaching Records, and recording artist/web designer John Redmon, inked a deal that will probably be noted around the world for its innovation, the first of its kind. This newly formed relationship is going to allow for the creation of a genuine symbiotic journey in which both parties will function in the synergy of mutual satisfaction and growth.

The term “synergy” describes a combination whose value is greater than the sum of the separateindividual parts. It is also defined as arrangements which are mutually beneficial for all those involved. Thus the term synergy definitely seems applicable for all parties involved in this agreement.

Some of the contractual terms include Redmon producing three albums for Reaching Records over the next several years. Since Redmon has been an independent artist for some years with some great masters, Reaching Records is simply going to re-master the Redmon originals and re-release some prior Redmon albums and singles within the next few months under their label. Redmon will receive a lump some of money for this portion of the agreement alone. However, Redmon has been also signed on as the official web designer for Reaching Records website (http://www.ReachingRecords.com) and his own website (http://www.ReachingRecords.com/johnredmon). He is contracted to create, update, and maintain these sites for the tenure of the agreement.

Very rarely are artists mutually satisfied with the working relationship and the deal that is initially inked out with any record label. However, this agreement seems to be deemed the rarity by the parties involved. Hence again…synergy!

“It is such an awesome feeling to know I am not just another artist that got signed to a record deal, but I actually feel like an integral member of the staff at Reaching Records as well!”, Redmon exclaims. Redmon continues. “This awesome idea will not just keep my creative juices flowing to produce, write, and arrange new music for my records, but also keep my creative skills on edge for building websites too. Some of my peers in the industry said I was crazy and this was a COI, conflict-of-interest. I told them no way! This was a great opportunity to diversify my talents. If Sean Puffy Combs can rap, produce, release albums, and own a very successful clothing line, then surely I can make music and build websites!”
